Whether transferring from a local community college or beginning your undergraduate studies, there are fundamental steps to applying to the University of Denver that each undergraduate student must complete that support an efficient application process 和 set you up for success.

Depending on whether you are a first-year applicant or a transfer applicant, you'll have different st和ards to follow:

3. Prepare 应用程序 和 Supplemental Documents

Along with the 常见的应用程序, we require certain supplemental materials, including:

• Official high school transcripts 和/or official college transcripts
• 应用程序 essay (included in the 常见的应用程序)
• Additional letters of recommendation (optional)
• Official ACT or SAT scores (optional)

Additionally, depending on your degree program, you may need to provide other supplemental materials. 在准备应用程序时, we encourage you to check with your academic department to ensure you have all the necessary documents. 

4. Choose a Deadline 和 Submit Your 应用程序

We have two important application deadlines for first-year applicants:

What's the difference between the deadline options?

• 早期的决定 is a binding agreement between you 和 University that you will attend DU if you're accepted.
• Students admitted during 早期的决定 rounds of admission receive an additional $5,优异资助奖, 和 top academic performers will have their full demonstrated financial need met. 早期的决定 applicants enjoy stronger consideration for admission, 和 benefit from earlier admission 和 financial aid notifications.
  • Athletes receiving athletic aid as well as music majors are welcome to apply 早期的决定 but are not eligible f或者是 financial incentives. International students are eligible f或者是 additional merit aid but not for need-based aid.
  • You can only apply 早期的决定 to one school, 和 if you're accepted to DU via 早期的决定, you must withdraw your applications from other institutions. You should only apply 早期的决定 if you're committed to joining our community 和 enrolling at DU.

Please note that transfer applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
 
No matter which deadline suits you best, you will apply via the 常见的应用程序. After reviewing your application for any errors 和 double-checking that you have correctly submitted all required documents, you can submit your 常见的应用程序 和 pay the $65 nonrefundable application fee.
